Land Forces Africa 2013 concluded its seminars and exhibition portion today, and ADR attended some of the excellent presentations held at the CSIR Convention Centre. In this podcast we discuss airlift with Michael Marshall, Business Development Manager: Mobility Programmes for Boeing, and we take a look at Special Forces’ value in regional brigades such as SADC and the AU standby forces. Other topics include the blurring of the lines between conventional and unconventional warfare, and the value of rapid deployment from aircraft.
